Tibetan Singing Bowls

According to Tibetan oral history, singing bowls date back over 2000 years. Using mixed metals, the bowls are hand-hammered into different sizes, creating their different sounds.The bowl is used by placing it on the open palm of one hand, and with the other hand, a wooden stick is moved around the outside rim to produce its vibration. Tibetan Singing Bowls produce sounds which invoke a deep state of relaxation which naturally assists one in entering into meditation. Singing Bowls are also used for holistic healing, stress reduction & Chakra balancing. A wide selection of Singing Bowls are available at Earth & Spirit.

Lab created opal is geologically identical to opal found in nature. It is not "imitation" but pure gem silica that has been grown in a laboratory setting.
